Talk to our engineering team

Talk directly to the people who do the work

The first conversation is technical, not commercial. The more you can tell us about the equipment and the condition found, the more accurate the preliminary assessment.

How to reach us

Equipment down right now?

In an emergency, the phone is the fastest route. Diagnosis starts on the call itself, so that our crew arrives on site with a preliminary scope, the right tooling and the materials already defined.

Workshop and mobilisation base

Our workshop receives components from across Brazil. For work on site, crews are mobilised from the base nearest to the client's facility.

Frequently asked questions

Quick answers before you write

Which parts of the country does WF Service cover?

We work throughout Brazil. Crews and tooling are mobilised to industrial plants, ports, terminals, shipyards and offshore units as required. Components that need workshop attention are received, recovered and returned tested.

Do you handle unplanned shutdowns and emergencies?

Yes. We keep an on-call structure for emergency response, with manufacturing priority in the machine shop. In an emergency, diagnosis starts remotely so that the crew arrives on site with a preliminary scope, the right tooling and the materials already defined.

How does the quotation process work?

Your request is logged through the quote form, by email or by phone. Our team then carries out a technical assessment and, where needed, a site visit or a remote inspection. The proposal sets out the scope, the execution sequence, the schedule and the acceptance criteria — not just a price.

Do you manufacture parts that are no longer available on the market?

Yes. We manufacture parts to order from the original component, from a technical drawing or from a dimensional survey carried out by our team. This is one of the services most requested by clients with discontinued equipment, or where import lead times do not fit the operation.

What documentation comes with the work?

The handover includes a technical report covering the condition found, photographic records, dimensional measurements and test results. Where a client requires a full quality dossier, we attach material certificates, procedure and welder qualifications, and non-destructive testing records.

Do you carry out work on board while the vessel is operating?

Yes, subject to permit-to-work procedures and the operational restrictions of the vessel or unit. Planning takes account of the window available, the areas released for work, cargo movements and coexistence with the other work fronts on board.

Can a component be recovered instead of replaced?

In most cases, yes. We assess technical feasibility against the material, the extent of the damage, the working loads and how critical the application is. Where recovery would not offer the same reliability as replacement, we say so explicitly in the assessment.

How is the delivery schedule determined?

The schedule is sized from the scope defined at diagnosis and from the real window available for the work. If the condition found during strip-down changes the scope, the change and its effect on the schedule are reported immediately, before any additional work is carried out.

Technical support

Would you rather set out the requirement on a full form?

The quote form gathers the technical information our team needs to assess the job without a second round of questions.
